How much does a mobile notary cost in Chicago?

Illinois caps notarial fees at $5 per non-electronic act and $25 per electronic act (effective Jan 1, 2026). Mobile notaries may also charge a travel fee based on distance, plus convenience fees for same-day, evening, weekend, or holiday appointments.

Is there a travel fee for mobile notary services?

Yes. A travel fee is charged based on distance from our base location in Chicago. The fee covers fuel, time, and transportation costs to reach your location anywhere in the Chicagoland area.

Are there extra fees for after-hours or weekend notary appointments?

Yes. Evening appointments (after 5 PM), weekend appointments, and holiday appointments each carry a $50 convenience fee in addition to standard notarial and travel fees.

What is the fee for a loan signing in Chicago?

Loan signing fees vary based on document package size, location, and any applicable convenience fees. Contact us for a quote specific to your signing.
